The term "daycare" is often used interchangeably to mean a babysitting service. This is not Lightbridge Academy; we are so much more than just a daycare! We play a transformative role in the lives of families and we take this very seriously. Our proprietary early childhood education curriculum impacts the "whole" child in a multitude of ways. • ParentView® Internet Monitoring System - Enables you to stay connected, all day, any day in real time! Login and watch your child having fun and engaged in learning activities throughout the day.
• Peek-of-the-Week - Stay one step ahead of your child's events and activities. You will receive these Peek-of-the-Weeks to keep you informed of the curriculum, activities, special visitors and all that is taking place the following week.
• Meal Plan - Lightbridge Academy has nutritious meal options available to choose. We make sure to appeal to even the most finicky eaters, and you can be sure your child is happy and eating well.
• Snack Program – Nutritious snacks are provided for children to eat in the morning and afternoon including fruits, vegetables, whole grains and protein options they are sure to enjoy!

For infants, every interaction is an opportunity to grow. We balance nurturing care, with the fundamentals of learning in a comfortable environment designed to foster infant development. This happens through individualized care and attention to a baby's on-demand schedule because there is no such thing as a typical day, that is why the daily schedule is determined by your child, not by us. BottleBridge®certified infant caregivers are ready to support nursing infants and mothers, providing full-time peace of mind for your newest arrival. 

INFANT CURRICULUM

Our infant curriculum creates a solid foundation for your little ones future growth and development. By creating strong bonds, learning through play and stimulating their five senses, even our youngest students are encouraged to explore the world around them in a safe and nurturing environment. Primary caregivers introduce a theme-based curriculum which is enhanced with enrichment programs such as Singing Sprouts, Spanish Sprouts and Signing Sprouts.

• Fine Motor: Infants develop their fine motor skills by clapping their hands to music, picking up finger foods, and holding onto their favorite toys to build hand and finger dexterity along with hand-eye coordination.
• Language: From hearing to processing sounds to palate development, language skills flourish by expressing wants and needs, repetition, and the use of American Sign Language. This reduces pre-verbal frustration by closing the gap between their desire and ability to communicate while having their needs understood.
• Movement in Space: When babies are rockin'-and-rollin', cruising along, and taking first steps, they are getting stronger and stronger from head to toe, and it shows!
• Social & Emotional: Each smile, embrace and encouraging word builds trust and helps children to thrive in social settings, which sets them up for healthy relationships.
• Cognitive: Stimulating brain function, infants are invited to become investigators and cheer on their discoveries, which builds skills such as object permanence and rationalization.  

STAY CONNECTED WITH YOUR BABY

As the parent of an infant, you'll want to know what's going on every minute of every day. We know it's hard to be apart and wonder what your child is doing. That is why we make it a priority to keep you connected. Our daily communication will allow you to closely follow their progress and know what's happening. Here's how we make it easy for you:

• Parent eCommunication App - Do we go overboard keeping you connected? Of course we do. You will receive reminders, notifications of your child's achievements, photos, video, a food & potty schedule and more in your daily report.
• Peek-of-the-Week - Stay one step ahead of your child's events and activities. Peek-of-the-Weeks are created to keep you informed of the curriculum, activities, special visitors and all that will take place the following week. You will receive these electronically or in-hand each week.
• Meal Plan - Lightbridge Academy has nutritious options available for you to choose from. We make sure to appeal to even the most finicky eaters, and you can be sure your Kindergartener is eating happily and healthy.
• Snack Program - Your child's health and safety is our number one priority. This includes the snacks provided for them to eat during morning and afternoon time. Healthy options include fruits, vegetables, whole grains and protein options.

Our top priority has always been for the health and safety of all those in our Circle of Care. Now more than ever, this is holds true. Our facilities follow clear guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing classrooms - including frequently touched surfaces and toys - throughout the day and in the evening.

Above and beyond the health and safety requirements for any child care system, our centers are installing an enhanced air purification and filtration system with Advanced Oxidation Technology. Similar in design to what is used in healthcare, food processing plants, and other highly sensitive environments, this system continuously purifies the air and sterilizes all visible surfaces significantly reducing infectious airborne pathogens including COVID-19 by purifying the air and removing airborne particulates through HEPA filters.

This state-of-the-art technology helps to ensure that Lightbridge Academy is safe and secure. From coded entry to silent alarms to internal video monitoring and limited points of entry, our security system, emergency drills and protocols are some of the most advanced in the industry.

It’s not enough for just a few staff members to be CPR and first-aid certified, everyone must achieve this certification. In addition, every staff member must meet or exceed state-mandated educational requirements and pass thorough background checks to ensure safety for all.

In addition to inspections by state licensing agencies, each center must adhere to Lightbridge Academy quality standards which may exceed state requirements. A quality assurance team representative performs an unannounced inspection of every center to ensure compliance with all requirements from Lightbridge Franchise Company, franchisor of Lightbridge Academy.
