A Multi-Sensory Approach

The Seedlings Early Childhood Education Curriculum focuses on all areas of a child's growth helping them to achieve their full potential. By seeing letters, signing words and hearing sounds, children learn through a multi-sensory approach which includes enrichment programs for:

• STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art & Math) - encourages analytical thought, reasoning skills and critical thinking while sparking creativity.
• Reading & Writing Readiness - features Handwriting Without Tears® with hands-on lessons that develop motor skills and prepares children to read and write.
• Singing Sprouts - explores music through singing, movement, instruments, a variety of cultures and styles, as well as rhythms and patterns.
• Spanish Sprouts - teaches the Spanish basics for counting, colors, readings and every day communication.
• Signing Sprouts - fosters communication and language development.
• Yoga & Mindfulness - relieves stress, calms minds and nervous systems while helping to release negative emotions and gain independence and coping skills.

The term "daycare" is often used interchangeably to mean a babysitting service. This is not Lightbridge Academy; we are so much more than just a daycare! We play a transformative role in the lives of families and we take this very seriously. Our proprietary early childhood education curriculum impacts the "whole" child in a multitude of ways. By embracing every moment as another opportunity to learn, all developmental areas are met, unlocking every child's potential including academic success. Our state-of-the-art child care center provides a professional yet nurturing home-away-from-home environment where you and your child will feel safe and comfortable.

• Parent e-Communication App - Receive reminders and notifications of your child's achievements, photos, video clips, food schedules and more every day.
• ParentView® Internet Monitoring System - Enables you to stay connected, all day, any day in real time! Login and watch your child having fun and engaged in learning activities throughout the day.
• Peek-of-the-Week - Stay one step ahead of your child's events and activities. You will receive these Peek-of-the-Weeks to keep you informed of the curriculum, activities, special visitors and all that is taking place the following week.
• Meal Plan - Lightbridge Academy has nutritious meal options available to choose. We make sure to appeal to even the most finicky eaters, and you can be sure your child is happy and eating well.
• Snack Program – Nutritious snacks are provided for children to eat in the morning and afternoon including fruits, vegetables, whole grains and protein options they are sure to enjoy!

Infant

It's an amazing time in your child's life! Every day brings new change - a smile, a fuss, a smooch, a new tooth. For infants, every interaction is an opportunity to grow. We balance nurturing care, with the fundamentals of learning in a comfortable environment designed to foster infant development. This happens through individualized care and attention to your baby's on-demand schedule. You can count on us to attend to your infant's every need and listen carefully to you - the parent - so that your needs are met as well. Leaving your baby in someone else's care can be an anxious time, trust us to keep you informed and connected each and every day!

Toddler

Toddlers are quickly learning so much about the world around them. They are all about speed - learning to sing, talk and run all at once. Children ages 18 months up to three years of age develop faster than almost any other age group, and in their minds, the world is changing by the minute. Lightbridge Academy's Toddler Program is designed to make the most of every one of their fast-paced milestones. Our curriculum addresses toddlers' rapid growth and development by catering to their readiness cues, with older toddler curriculum focused on preparing for preschool and beyond. 

Preschool

Preschool provides the freedom and opportunity for children to develop and grow in independence and confidence. An engaged child learns! While having fun, they aren't even aware they are developing reading and math skills. In addition, your child will gain the social skills necessary to succeed in Kindergarten. Through small and large group instruction and activities, teachers focus on every child as an individual enabling them to gain knowledge and thrive. It's an important time as preschoolers acquire the crucial skills necessary for them to enter Pre-Kindergarten -confident, well prepared and with the desire to learn!

Pre-K

In Pre-K, your child will develop more emotionally, physically, academically and socially than ever before! Studies show that a quality Pre-K program positively impacts a child’s ability to be successful in elementary school and life. Planned, theme-based lessons, strengthen a child’s emerging skills in reading, writing, science, technology and math. Kindergarten readiness is also fostered with a focus on effective communication, the ability to follow instruction, and work cooperatively with peers. Our curriculum provides theme-based lessons and activities designed to bring out the strengths in every child, so they can enter Kindergarten with confidence and well prepared to learn!

Kindergarten

Our Kindergarten program offers distinct advantages to children and parents. Teachers enjoy the freedom to spend more time with your child, addressing their individual needs and teaching beyond the basics. Young minds are stimulated through our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) concepts and hands-on activities throughout the day while Interactive white boards and iPad tech tables foster active participation and create an engaging, multimedia learning experience for children. When graduation time arrives, you will agree that your child has a considerable advantage being a Lightbridge Academy graduate!

Summer Day Camp

Even though school is out for elementary school-age children that doesn't mean parents have the summer off too! Your child will enjoy summer the way it should be - with safe, fun, exciting activities, new friendships, spontaneous shenanigans and water. Yes, lots of water. And while you're at it, give yourself a break by choosing a summer camp that works for working parents. With extended hours, meal plans, ParentView® internet monitoring and an e-Communication app, Lightbridge Academy keeps you connected and covered! Young children thrive in environments with the freedom to explore yet the structure necessary to keep them safe with a watchful eye and nurturing reassurance.

Our top priority has always been for the health and safety of all those in our Circle of Care. Now more than ever, this is holds true. Our facilities follow clear guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing classrooms - including frequently touched surfaces and toys - throughout the day and in the evening.

Above and beyond the health and safety requirements for any child care system, our centers are installing an enhanced air purification and filtration system with Advanced Oxidation Technology. Similar in design to what is used in healthcare, food processing plants, and other highly sensitive environments, this system continuously purifies the air and sterilizes all visible surfaces significantly reducing infectious airborne pathogens including COVID-19 by purifying the air and removing airborne particulates through HEPA filters.

This state-of-the-art technology helps to ensure that Lightbridge Academy is safe and secure. From coded entry to silent alarms to internal video monitoring and limited points of entry, our security system, emergency drills and protocols are some of the most advanced in the industry.

It’s not enough for just a few staff members to be CPR and first-aid certified, everyone must achieve this certification. In addition, every staff member must meet or exceed state-mandated educational requirements and pass thorough background checks to ensure safety for all.

In addition to inspections by state licensing agencies, each center must adhere to Lightbridge Academy quality standards which may exceed state requirements. A quality assurance team representative performs an unannounced inspection of every center to ensure compliance with all requirements from Lightbridge Franchise Company, franchisor of Lightbridge Academy.
